Stockland - A Model for Sustainable Development

Stockland's Stamford Park Project has been designed to demonstrate innovative and sustainable practices, and to become a model for future urban residential development.  Livable Housing Australia was a natural benchmark to include in the delivery of this vision.

Located in Rowville, 26 kilometres south east of the Melbourne CBD, the project forms part of a wider 40 hectare parkland, wetland and heritage precinct, owned by Knox City Council, that will undergo major regeneration in the coming years.

The Stamford Park Community will comprise 160 homes, featuring a diverse mix of single and two-storey homes and townhouses, along with 30 apartments.

Forty homes will be certified to Silver LHA Design Standard, ensuring homes are built for everybody, providing for comfort, safety and ease.  This is in line with Stockland's overall commitment to deliver 20% of medium density homes to LHA silver standard.

Stamford Park reflects Stockland's commitment to sustainability and livability, to create á better way to live'.  The project, highlights the company's commitment to designing communities and homes that are inclusive and meet the diverse needs of Australians.

Construction at Stamford Park will commence in 2017, with the final stage expected to be completed in early 2020.
