Achieving our Silver, Gold and Platinum
LHA Assessors registered with LHA and listed on this website can assess a design or an as-built dwelling as meeting the Livable Housing Silver, Gold or Platinum performance levels.
Achieving LHA’s Silver, Gold and Platinum performance levels provide the basis for home that has been designed and built with livability in mind. For a dwelling to achieve one of LHA’s Silver, Gold or Platinum performance levels means it has been assessed either at the design stage; providing provisional certification based upon documentation valid for 2 years or until construction commences, or at the Final-as-built stage; providing a Final-as-built Certificate of the actual built dwelling valid for 7 years, by a qualified and registered LHA Assessor.
Only LHA Assessors registered with LHA and listed on the LHA website can assess a design or an as-built dwelling as meeting the Livable Housing Silver, Gold or Platinum performance levels and issue the LHA Assessment Certificate of compliance.
Dwellings that are assessed as complainant with one of LHA’s performance levels and registered with LHA and can be marketed as being livable to future home buyers, renters, or used to qualify for incentive schemes promoting livability in communities.
